Hostel Life, A Second Life

Is Hostel life is important in life to grow or not?
What do you think it should be there or not?
Does it put any impact on our life or not?
Does it shape our life or not?

So there are many view points of these questions. But what I firmly believe is yes. Yes, hostel life shape our life and it plays a major role. I have an experience of it of long time. For last 11 years, I am enjoying the life of enjoyment and as per me it can also be considered as a "School". I have learned many practical lessons from this school. I have dealt with many person from different places. I had passed my 10 years at Ahmedabad in hostel and 1 year in Indore hostel.

An experience for the whole life.................hostel life.
In the beginning, I used to think that I would miss home and all that but now I realize that I was wrong, hostel life should be must............It teaches u many things that u won't learn in the safety of your house.

Have a round of playing cards, playing games, enjoying a lot and many other thing like quarreling with friends, some times intensely. Really, What a nice experience it has.

But ya u have to be very careful also..... you can easily get spoiled also by having bad friends and can be addicted of smoking and drinking and many other bad things.

I never miss any chance to enjoy in hostel. And do every adventure possible and definitely spare quality time for studies too. Best thing about my Ahmedabad hostel was they didn't send the progress report to home.

I think everyone should enjoy it and everyone should attend this school.
Best Of Luck.

Can laughter cure illness?

What do you think, whether laughter can cure one's illness or not? This may be a subject of debate but what i think is definitely yes. Laughter is a way to get well soon. I strongly believed that a person who laughs a lot can be kept himself away from illness and make oneself free from diseases.

In the book "Anatomy of an Illness," journalist and author Norman Cousins described how 10-minute intervals of intense laughter helped him get two hours of undisturbed sleep -- despite a painful spinal condition that had previously kept him awake.

However, laughter as an alternative pain treatment isn't a new idea. In fact, people in Asia and South America have extolled its benefits for centuries. In the 13th century, doctors used laughter as a distraction to relieve pain during surgery. The 1998 movie "Patch Adams" was based on the real-life story of a doctor who used humor to treat patients. Patch Adams and his colleagues at the Gesundheit Institute in Virginia use a combination of clowning, singing and dancing to treat patients through entertainment in conjunction with traditional medicine [source: Gesundheit Institute]. There are many laughter therapy to cure illness. In India, we know Baba Ramdev very well. He recommends laughter as a medicine and guides about it How to apply it in curing a disease.

As per me all person can be a doctor without any efforts and any degree. I am not crazy friends. A person who can laugh can be a doctor and every person can laugh. So keep on laughing and keep away from all diseases and problems. Best of Luck from me. Keep enjoying and laughing.

HOLI, A Festival of Colors

I am a hostel boy. And I have celebrated "Rang Panchami", a fantastic festival with my hostel friends. Really its a enjoying time that i have passed. We all hostel friends enjoyed the festival a lot with colors in a manner that no one can identify us. But for someone, who doesn't like to celebrate it, is not easy to even walk out of the house or hostel.

It was around 11:30am and we friends were playing with colors. And some friends were inside the hostel, who doesn't like. We caught them and drag them out into our field of enjoyment. They were shouting and saying no. But it was not time to listen them. It was our time to made them colored and we did it. "Ha Ha Ha". We really did it and enjoyed the Holi very much. So Holi is festival of color and full of enjoyment.

Now a days, people are very busy in their schedule and festivals like Holi and Rang Panchami bring time and colors to our busy life. Along with it, it also make us united and try to make our relation stronger with our friends and others. So enjoy it and be a part of festival-colors and happiness.
